Robert Porter M.D., TCA Founder, CEO and Medical Director is a leading authority on evidence-based medicine and physician network development. He is a strong advocate of the use of evidence-based guideline to improve outcomes in clinical practice. He has held numerous positions in the private and public sectors such as Chief Medical Director of Examworks, CEO of NMR, Director and Chairman, Department of Emergency Medicine and Occupational Medicine, Swedish American Hospital and the Executive Director of Occupational Health Services for Sherman Health System. He holds the academic appointment of Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine. His medical practice experience includes the emergency, occupational and insurance disciplines. Dr. Porter is board certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (OM) and received B.Sc. and M.D. degrees from the University of Toronto.
